Tannenbaum weddings are known for breathtaking views and mountain charm, but sometimes, the mountain brings along spring storms. On this particular wedding day, nature put on a dramatic show, bringing both rain and blizzards throughout the day. But despite the stormy conditions, this couple remained positive and rolled with the punches.
The Ceremony
Originally planning for an outdoor ceremony, the couple decided to move their vows indoors. They exchanged their heartfelt promises in front of Tannenbaum’s stunning fireplace. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, the cozy setting created an intimate and warm atmosphere as the storm raged on outside.
After the ceremony, in a stroke of perfect timing, the skies gave us a brief pause from the storm just after the ceremony. Seizing the opportunity, we rushed outside for portraits. We were able to capture the couple against the breathtaking mountain backdrop before the storm rolled back in. The moment felt like a gift, a small window of calm amidst the ever-changing weather. It also served as a great reminder that sometimes we have to be open to sudden timeline changes to make the day as perfect as possible.
The reception was filled with laughter, heartfelt toasts, and joyous celebrations. But one of the most magical moments of the night came during the formal dances. As the couple swayed together, a rainbow appeared just outside. It was the perfect gift from nature for enduring the storm on their wedding day. The rest of the evening was filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories as they danced the night away with all their friends and family.
One thing you can always count on with Tannenbaum weddings is an unforgettable backdrop. Whether sunny and fair, or stormy and blizzarding. It makes for a wedding filled with love, resilience, and a little bit of magic.
